Monty the motorhome is back on his home drive after a very pleasant weekend away.
On Sunday the day lived up to it's name, with the sun coming out for long periods.
We packed up and drove to The Long Mynd - only about 30 mins away and parked up at Carding Mill Valley. This has always been one of our favourite locations and for years we have been saying 'if we get a van we must come here'. There is plenty of level parking and Monty was pleased to get in close with another motorhome.
We had a stroll into Church Stretton and got the Sunday paper, then back to Monty for a spot of lunch and a read.
Later we ambled up to the road head and sat for a while, in the sun, people watching.
The drive home took just over the hour, and even though it had been a lazy day we were tired out.
