November 5th 2015: Norfolk: Hunstanton 2

Monty the Motorhome is still at Searles Leisure Park, Hunstanton.

We made an early start this morning and were out walking just after 9.00am, as the weather forecast was for heavy rain coming in from early afternoon.
We re-traced some of our footsteps from yesterday and walked southwards along the promenade, but this time right along to the end and the village of Heacham. The village itself is about half a mile inland from the coast, with several shops and a small cafe, where we had coffee and read the daily papers.
Then back along the prom to Hunstanton, by which time it was after midday - so a couple of ham sandwiches from a small bakery supplied the necessary calories for lunch.

With the sky turning increasing dark we retreated back to the van, digging out the hard drive and watching a couple of films.

We will be moving on tomorrow, but the forecast is not good - wet and windy. So there is some uncertainty about what we’ll do tomorrow and where to stay.

Our site, complete with Palm trees. Monty is just behind the blue car.
