September 4th 2015: Norway: Bergen 5

Monty the Motorhome is now considering himself ‘an old hand’ at Bergenshallen. This is now our sixth night at the site, counting the four from our first visit a week ago.

The day dawned with yet more rain, albeit light. I had an morning walk around the nearby Tveitevannet lake and managed to get accosted by two Norwegian Jehovah Witnesses - probably looked like I needed saving!

Our trip into Bergen today was art orientated. Right in the centre of the city there are four art museums housing works by world famous artists like Edvard Munch and Picasso, as well as important Norwegian artists like Astrup, Dahl and Gude.
We particularly liked the works by Munch, an artist really known for one work - The Scream - which unfortunately is in Oslo.

Rachael has now finished her academic week away and came over to join us this evening. Unfortunately Ivar is away working and not due back until late on Sunday, so it was just the three of us that sat down to the evening meal.
