September 8th 2015: Norway: Woerden

Monty the Motorhome is experiencing a sense of deja vu as he is back on a Dutch campsite that we visited last year.

Today was another early start, being on the road for 7.00am, with a feeling of trepidation as Hamburg loomed. On the way out to Norway we had experienced serious traffic congestion, so here we were coming in at rush hour, with road works and fog! The result - a quick transit through, with just one minor delay. What was all the bother about?

Just like yesterday there is little to report on the journey, apart from a few mileage stats. Today’s distance was 334 mlles, which means we have done 623 since leaving Bergen. We also passed the 4000 mile mark for our total trip distance.

The journey today was along the same route that we took outbound six weeks ago - Hamburg, Bremen, Osnabruck, Apeldoorn, Utrecht and finally to the small town of Woerden. All motorway driving.

Our pitch tonight is at Batenstein Camping, on the edge of the town. It is a really leafy site, though much busier than our last visit in April 2014.
On arrival we walked off our journey stiffness by going into town and making a last mini food shop, ensuring there are sufficient provisions to see us home tomorrow.

Note: posted on Thursday 10th September, as our Three PAYG internet contract does not cover Holland. Israel and Hong Kong - yes! Super rip-off
